Abstract: This work publishes a Russian translation of poems about antiquity by the great Greek poet Giorgos Seferis (1900-1971) and an essay "The Poetics of Antiquity: The Case of Seferis" by O.P. Tsybenko devoted to the problem of modern perception of the ancient Greek heritage in the work of the Greek poet.
